Sabotage

Un site (que je ne nommerai pas) propose un coffret de 6 DVDs. En voici le texte :

It is a 6 DVD box set titled DVD collection Studio Ghibli/Archives of Studio Ghibli. The set seems to be an import from Hong Kong and was produced by a company called Anime Cartoon. All discs are code free and NTSC. The set contains the following:

• Disc 1 - Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind & Only Yesterday
• Disc 2 - Whisper of the Heart & Princess Mononoke
• Disc 3 - My Neighbor Totoro & Pom Poko
• Disc 4 - Porco Rosso & Laputa: Castle in the Sky
• Disc 5 - Grave of the Fireflies & Kiki's Delivery Service
• Disc 6 - Ocean Waves (A TV movie produced by Studio Ghibli) & On Your Mark (A music Video directed by Miyazaki)

Comme nous le savons tous, les imports de Hong Kong sont rarement réputés pour leur qualité et à 99,9 % illégaux. A ce titre voici une réponse parue sur le site nausicaa.net :

Team Ghiblink sent a query to Mr. Steven Alpert, vice-president at Tokuma International (parent company of Studio Ghibli), this is his reply:

We have NOT licensed to anyone called Anime Cartoon in Hong Kong, and these sets must be pirated. We have a reputable licensee in Hong Kong who would certainly not be involved in this. I will be in touch with our attorneys to see what we can do to get the sales of these on "---.com" stopped, and I would imagine Disney will want to do the same.

En substance, ce coffret est totalement illégale et n'a reçut à aucun moment le droit d'être commercialisé. Les avocats compétents se mettront en relations avec le/les site(s) en question pour cesser la commercialisation du dit coffret.

Je vous rappel que les copies pirates (même si elles ont l'avantage d'être financièrement accessibles) causent énormément de torts aux créateurs et aux œuvres elles-même. Puisque les droits d'auteurs ne seront pas reversés aux artistes (dont c'est le salaire) ce qui peut entrainer une baisse de la qualité de production.
