***Gangster jailed for 10 years for shooting U.S. serviceman***
"HIROSHIMA — A 37-year-old gangster who was annoyed at being stared at by a U.S. Navy man was sentenced Monday to 10 years in prison for shooting and seriously injuring the serviceman in Hiroshima's commercial district in October 2003.
Tomoyuki Matsumoto shot U.S. Navy Petty Officer 3rd class Eric Heinz, 21, in the waist around 3:55 a.m. on Oct 26, 2003, in Naka Ward when Heinz and two other U.S. servicemen were walking on a street. Matsumoto turned himself to police, saying he shot Heinz as he was annoyed when the serviceman cut in front of his car. (Kyodo News)"
10 ans seulement...??? Vu les raisons du drame, et dans un pays qui a la peine de mort, je trouve que la justice a eu la main bien légère (surtout que le type est un yakuza et donc pas un agne en puissance !!!)...
