Aux dernières nouvelles l'adaptation cinématographique de "Dragon Ball" serait produite par la 20th Century Fox et réalisée par Roland Emmerich ("Godzilla" et "Independence Day").

Le casting proposerait Hugh Jackman (la série des "X-Men" et actuellement sur les planches à Broadway dans "The boy from Oz"), Orlando Bloom (la trilogie "Lord of the ring" et "Pirates of the Carribean") et Ray Parks ("Star wars - The phantom menace" et "X-Men).
