In fact today one of my colleagues just changed their visa from a Working Holiday visa to a Specialist in Humanities visa.
They have less than 6 months teaching experience, no degree, and two part times jobs. But they got the visa, all within 1 week of applying. Absolutely amazing.
But on the other hand, you could have more than 3 years experience, a fully paid job to support yourself by, but not get the visa. Case by case.
Best thing to do is, just apply now, see what happens, and try to rectify the reasons why you may be rejected for a visa and try again.
