Native French Linguistic Game Testers

Job Information:

A native linguistic QA (Quality Assurance) tester plays through a game
localized into his/her native language. The linguistic tester is
responsible for checking any errors in the game's text, voice-over, and
instruction manual, such as inaccuracies in meaning, text overlapping issues,
spelling mistakes, grammar errors, and speech inappropriate to a character's
age and/or gender.
The tester will report these mistakes and will suggest how to correct
them in a bug database via a computer terminal.

Many producers in the overseas game publishing industry first worked
in QA and used that as a gateway to enter the industry. We recommend
this job for those looking to start a career in the ever-growing,
fast-paced video game industry.
