Kyoto Taikai

un ami américan, pratiquant le naginata, m'a dit qu'il allait assister au Kyoto taikai, sorte de démonstration de grande envergure, d'arts martiaux traditionnels. Cela se passerait début Mai et non loin du Heian Jingu. Je vous donnerai plus d'info lundi, quand il m'en aura dit plus.

Voilà cela se passe au Butokukan près du Heian Shrine, le lundi 3 Mai de 8:30 à 17:30, et c'est une démonstration d'art martiaux faites par des pratiquants qui ont au moins un 6ème dan. Il y aura du Sojutsu, Kenjutsu, Naginatajutsu, Jodo, Iaido, et du Kyudo... bref, c'est à ne pas rater pour ceux qui ont la chance d'être a Kyoto...

The brief information of Kyoto Enbu Taikai in 2004.

The AJKF Kendo Enbu Taikai will be held at Butoku-den in the Kyoto-shi Budo Center (Shogoin Entonbi-cho, Sakyo-ku, Kyoto-shi, Kyoto-fu) from May 3 to May 6.

May 3: Various Enbu/Matches including Iaido and Jodo
May 4: Kendo Matches
May 5: Kendo Matches
May 6: Kendo Matches

Although anybody can see the event, the venue, Butoku-den, is quite a small place and very crowded during the event and there are no spectators' seats
or space separately.
